Structure of the Global Forest Coalition

GFC-structure The main decision-making body of the Global Forest Coalition is the Coordination Group, which consists of seven regional focal points, two Indigenous Peoples' focal points and the Chairperson.

The coordination group reports to the Board of the Foundation Global Forest Coalition, which was established in 2005 as the legal host organization of the coalition. The Board of the Foundation Global Forest Coalition has decided that it will adopt the decisions of the coordination group as binding advice.

The International Secretariat is based in Amsterdam. A Southern office has been established in Asunción, Paraguay.
